Only wishing leads to nothing

Wishing for success

Most of us are wishing for a future that seams far away and often unreachable. Like when we wish to bye a supercar, a mansion or a private plane for example. Wishing for these things will most of the time not lead to you getting it, usually.

Success can be met with the amount of money a person has. It can also be the people you have around you but most of all the feelings you have about yourself and what you feel about the things you do. When you feel you are good enough and you are in a place where everything is working for you and how you handle whatever life throws in your way you know its manageable that is also a form of success.

Taking action

Taking action is simple enough. The hard part is to know what the right action is for you, and you have to find that out by yourself.

There are many ways to find out how to find your way forward. When having Crohn’s Disease, you have to consider what your body can handle, and every step has to be in synchronisation with your body’s rhythm. This makes everything more complicated and with a slower pace than a person without health issues has.

First of all, you have to find out what you like, what feels good in your heart. Saying yes to things that feel good and start saying no to things that don’t feel right. Your personal mind will probably once or twice have things to say about what’s happening with you taking on a new path. Your personal mind wants you to keep doing familiarly things, a new road ahead can be dangerous, and your personal mind will do everything to protect you from getting hurt. When you know that you have the opportunity to move out of your comfort zone and take the first step towards success. Let your journey take the time necessary.

Much to learn

Learn new things, think differently

The road forward will be filled with learning new skills and learning about who you are. Having a mentor who has made their own success and who can guide you on your journey is a good idea. Some people have multiple mentors which gives you a possibility to se your way forward from more then one angle. It will help you grow faster.

Starting a new journey will surprise you by leading you on a path you never thought you would walk on. Don’t be surprised when you meet new people who are on the same journey as you. With them you might find a community of support, new friends and much more.

Our journey

The journey we have started has been filles with new insights. We have found out where we want to be in the future. For us it’s about being more with family and friends. Being free to live life without strings to corporates who decide when we can have free time to have a vacation and travel. The free lifestyle where we just need a laptop and a Wi-Fi connection for work is a dream we have. Being our own bosses is probably not a walk on roses all the time but others has done it before us so we can do it to. We are not young anymore and our health has a bit more to offer so we will have a long journey before us, taking it slow, step by step. That feels right for us.

We have a vision of being a positive force in our community by being a good example for others and inspiring people to find their inner smile. We love to combine writing stories and photographing beautiful places, put family’s special times in a framed memory that will make them smile for years to come. There are so many ways to make people happy and serving others will help us reach our own goal one day. The journey is on, and we will have much to give on the way forward and that will be our success stories.

Sharing smiles

Finding purpose.

Some people live their purpose while others never find it. Is it even important to find your purpose or can life be great without it?

I have never wondered about purpose before and with my new journey I find myself thinking about it more often. It took me a while to find my own purpose and now that I have found it, I wonder how I can inspire others to find theirs.

What happens if your purpose changes then? You might find it only to realize your perspective has changes and the purpose is not the same anymore. Is that something to worry about or should you just go with the flow and follow what feels right?

My purpose is to inspire people to find their inner smile. It seams quite easy enough but how can I get people to do that? I have no idea really. I think there is much more to learn if I want to understand how everything works. For the moment I do what I can by writing about my way back after having trouble with Crohn’s Disease. I hope my story can help someone to find their smile despite battling with their own sickness and still find enjoyment in life.

Not funny all the time

Having Crohn’s Disease is no funny business. That doesn’t mean that life can’t be funny and enjoyable. Off course its not like that all the time but when you can live a good life seeing the big picture and feel that life is a good place to be in despite the troubles that comes along, that’s when I think you are on the right way forward.

I find it easy to enjoy life most of the time and I think the people around me is one reason for that. Another reason is that I have learned to enjoy the small things in life. Third reason is that I don’t take life so seriously. One thing everyone does is being born and then when the time comes to say goodbye and leave the earthy life, we will do that too. We will enter naked, and we will leave naked. What we do in between is our own choices most of the time.

Choosing the right thing in every turn in life is impossible I would say but when you make your choices from a good place in your heart and following your gut-feeling I think you can get a great life, filled with joy, love, friendship and every thing in between. I believe when you have that you are equipped with everything you need. If you add a positive attitude, I think you have the recipe for success.

Training your mind

Hard work training your mind

If you have a negative mind, you probably will find obstacles everywhere. Don’t be sad over that. I honestly believe that you can change your mind and make it less negative. I think it starts with a decision and willingness to do what it takes. Don’t rush these things, take your time, step by step, hour by hour and day by day.

Your personal mind (some call it ego) will protest, loudly to stop you from changing your habits. You have to be determent and have a lot of courage to fight your personal mind and let your gut-feeling lead you forward. The only thing your personal mind wants to do is to save you from getting hurt, so be gentle and forgiving towards yourself.

Sometimes you can not do this journey by yourself. If that is the case find someone you trust to help you through the ordeal. There are professionals out there if you need more than a trusted friend to find your way forward.

Me, I am probably born with a positive attitude, even if I’m not positive all the time, I usually find my way back to my positive self. That, I am incredibly happy about because I don’t think I am brave enough to meet my personal mind. God knows what is in there, for me it’s easier to just move ahead and do the things that make me happy. People probably will say that I sweep it all under the rug, avoiding dealing with it, that might be the truth. Some time, I will have to deal with it, I guess. But when that day comes, I will grab the bull by the horns and fight.
