I found a book

Reading books

I rarely read books even though I like to read. A few years ago, I started to read a book, then another one and another one.

Now they are all started but no one is finished. It’s not that any of them where boring so I don’t know why I just don’t finish them all, one at the time.

I have many books that I want to read on a shelf in a closet. Someday they will be read, that’s what I say to myself and at the moment I mean it. Because of that I rarely buy books, they will just be unread gathering dust in my closet like the other ones I have.

Then the ad came along

While scrolling on Facebook there was an ad catching my eye. It was a book about medical herbs that can help out with people’s health. What caught my eye was the information about herbs that can help out when having different diseases.

So… I bought the book for $37.

The book can be used like an encyclopaedia. You can search on the herbs and on diseases and the book has a good and informative approach with pictures of the herbs, information about how to use them and in some cases warnings not to use them in specific situations or use them too much.

I would have liked to have an inbound book, but it came in a digital PDF-format.

Good Herbs for Crohn’s Disease
The Lost Book Of Herbal Remedies

Free books too

The Lost Book Of Herbal Remedies is written by Nicole Apelian and Claude Davis. There are a lot of reading (306 pages). This book came with two other books to, Everyday Disaster Medicin Guidebook by Claude Davis and The 80 Square-feet Medicinal Garden but I don’t know who the author are on that one.

I had to check out Nicole Apelians homepage thelostplants.com and I found it fascinating. There are lots of information in text and videos and I think you all can have use of the information on that homepage.

When getting all these books I knew I had to share them with you. I strongly believe that eating the right things will make the body feeling better and many of the herbs are forgotten for most of us. There are much to learn about our fantastic nature.

My next step

So, when getting the books digital instead of inbound I can choose to read them on my phone or computer, I can also choose to print them out. I prefer to have the pages in my hand so the only option for me is to start my printer and find something to gather the pages in. Time to learn some more to get my health back.

Responsibility and days passing by

Days pass by

Days fly by

The days pass so fast, they are just flying by, and the days just runs away like a sprinter in a race. This is the third week of vacation and only one week left. There are still some things planned out like a trip with our grandson over night in the RV. It’s the first time we are taking him on a trip this long without his parents.

Saab 37 Viggen

A museum with airplanes is probably quite exciting when you are three years old. It’s exciting for us as grownups even though we have been there before, multiple times. There are planes from the first planes build, to the second world war and younger ones like Swedish planes, Saab 37 Viggen and Jas 39 Gripen. Nice, restored planes and some planes that has crashed and still are in pieces. There is so much history to enjoy and some planes that he can play around in.

A day on Parken Zoo with a lot of various animals, in a city close by with my daughter and her family is also planned to next week. We just need nice weather, all smiling faces and it will be a perfect day.

Taking responsibility

With all that planned its easy forgetting taking care of the health. With Mr. Crohn’s Disease on visit it’s important to rest from time to time too. Being lost in all the fun things that happens is not in the best interest for the health at this moment. It’s necessary to rest if we want to be ready for work the week after. Taking fun to far will have consequences so taking responsibility for being healthy is absolutely in our best interest.

Everyone has responsibility for their own life, how they live and enjoy it. There are some areas that is important to consider paying some attention to if you want to live your best life, whatever it looks like.

  • Health
Keeping your body as healthy as you can. That is not always that easy when you have a disease like ours. You can eat healthy for the most part and exercise will get you on the way.
  • Wealth
Pay attention to your economy and keeping everything in order. Wealth can also be met in other things and what they are for you is your responsibility to find out.
  • Self
Take care of yourself. Take necessary pauses from work. Do things you love to do to bring forward you smile. Let go of negative things and people that constant drain your energy and never give you anything but hurt.
  • Social
Contact friends and family that make you laugh, and that loves you for who you are. People who can make you smile and feel joy will refill your energy.
Smiling yet?

You can take a few minutes every day to write down some positive things in the area’s health, wealth, self and social that you have done. That will make you track the small wins you have every day and one day you might have found your daily smile without thinking of it.

If you have a balance in these areas, you are set for a happier life and the only one who can make it happen is you. People around you can inspire you to find your daily smile, but you have to do the work needed to find your own way forward to you best life, what ever that is for you. If you want to make it easier for you, surround yourself with people who already have found their way for a future they search for, they are perfect mentors to learn from.
